i took the Z to work again today and installed the HID's i purchased "4300k".i have to say very easy to do takes 10mins tops and it's a huge difference.

i took her home and washed the yrs of grime off the car since the weather was nice and snapped a few cleaner pics with someone other than a cell phone.here are the STRI gauges installed in the 300degree panel.i have to say i'm impressed with them they are very accurate look exactly like the Defi's.tomorrow's agenda is flower pots and maybe the autovation pedals.

Awesome! Clean look outside & in & under the hood. HID look fantastic, I'll have to look into them myself.

its the 300degree den.i like theirs since it angles towards the driver.they're only 40bucks for the panel. the ballasts are mounted under the headlights.

i got them down a local guy but they can be found on ebay for about $75 to $100. i paid 100 for them but i also can get replacements right down the street if one ever goes out vs dealing with a ebay vendor.. they come with a 14month warranty.i wanna say the company is HID wholesale or something like that...you know the neighborhood aye? oh no now i have the get the pups ready for a Reid dinner...lol

Here's an eBay kit but it's 6000k.

What was your reason for choosing a 4300K kit?

thwe 4300 thru 10000 are the color temps and lumen output of the bulbs. the higher the number the more blue tint. but theres a draw back the more blue the less usable light you actually project.i went with the 4300k which is the brightest and most pure white you can get. they look clean but more importantly i can see..lol. the 6000k looks good as well just has a slight hint of blue. like bmw HID's

Makes sense, there is some pretty good info out there on the color temps and 4300k seems like the right choice for output. If you want "exotic", go for the higher temps...

I think the neighborhood you live in is the same one my brother lived in a year ago. I cant rememeber what the street name was but i know that you get off i85 south and exit on taylor road and head toward atlanta highway hit the light at atlanta highway go straight past the pri med and the cvs and the apartments and bang a right....and i think your road is the 1st or secound on the right, if i am not mistaken lol
